Personal Safety - This program is designed for children, parents and Childcare providers.  Participants will learn about:

  • Welcome touch
  • Unwelcome touch
  • Ways to resist or say "No"
  • Who to tell
  • Ways to keep oneself safe from sexual predators  

Mandated Reporting - This program is designed for all people who are mandated by law to report child abuse.  It includes information about:

  • Who the mandated reporters are
  • The definitions of abuse and neglect
  • Signs and symptoms of child abuse and neglect
  • How to make a report
  • What happens when a report is made  

Dynamics of Abuse -  (Recognizing and Responding to Abuse)  This program provides information on the current issues relating to child sexual abuse.  Participants will learn:

  • How to recognize the symptoms and/or signs of child sexual abuse
  • How to respond to a child who disclosed abuse
  • How to recognize and respond to the behavior of a possible abuser
  • Ways to talk with your child about behaviors/issues that may help prevent child sexual abuse  

Normal Healthy Sexual Development as a Prevention Tool - This program provides parents and other adult caretakers with appropriate information on healthy sexual development for children, Participants will learn about:

  • Normal healthy sexual development
  • How they can contribute to a child's normal, healthy development
  • The appropriate response to children's questions about sexuality
  • Responding to the sexual behavior of children
  • How understanding healthy sexual development can help prevent children from becoming sexual abuse victims  

Developing Personal Safety Policies to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse - This program provides assistance to childcare providers, helping them to maintain clear and specific policies about:

  • Personal Safety
  • Reporting child sexual abuse
  • Understanding the caregivers role in the development of children's healthy sexuality
  • Dealing with sexual behavior between children
